Check out the Roanoke Angler in Grandin Village which is just starting to build some inventory and is a better shop each time I go in. The owner, Jay, is quite knowledgeable and just moved his shop up from NC this year. One of your subscribers (not me!) also works there part-time.
Jim, I like Jay and have bought some stuff from him. Tried to do a guided trip but it just didn’t work out. I look forward to seeing him potentially build up a lineup that has some higher end rods for tight line nymphing.
